Arvind Kejriwal Is Enemy of Punjab: Sukhbir Singh Badal
By Rakesh Raman
Punjab deputy chief minister (CM) Sukhbir Singh Badal has called the Aam Admi Party (AAP) leader and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal as the biggest enemy of the state of Punjab.
“Kejriwal has taken U-turn twice on the issue of sharing of river waters through SYL canal by claiming the right of Delhi and other states on the river waters of Punjab,” Badal said.
He further said that due to the anti-Punjab stance adopted by AAP, its political graph is waning gradually and this novice party would not be able to open its account in the coming assembly elections in the state.
Terming Kejriwal and his core team from Delhi as the looters, Badal said the statements of AAP leaders alleging sale of party tickets have proved the same. Besides, they have allotted the tickets to more than 40 candidates who were indulged in serious cases.

Badal said to share the power in Punjab, AAP and Congress are in a secret pact against the state and under this pact, Kejriwal has put up week candidate from Patiala against the former CM Captain Amarinder Singh.
He further said with an aim to become the Punjab chief minister, Kejriwal has ensured the crushing defeat of the front runner leaders of his party by announcing Bhagwant Mann candidature from Jalalabad and Himmat Singh Shergill from Majitha assembly constituency.
He said having dictator’s credentials, Delhi CM has foiled the entry of Navjot Singh Sidhu in his party with a sense of fear of replacement.

In a scathing attack on Congress, Deputy Chief Minister said this anti-Sikh party has collapsed in the state due to groupism and weak leadership at national level. He said every leader in Congress has their own group and everyone has the ambition to be the CM of Punjab.
He stressed that the SAD-BJP alliance would contest the elections on development plank and maintaining communal harmony thereby make a hat-trick by defeating anti-Punjab forces.
Assembly election is expected to be held in Punjab in 2017. At present Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD)- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) alliance has a majority in the 117-seat Vidhan Sabha. The government is headed by CM Parkash Singh Badal.
