As Democrats are moving aggressively to impeach Donald Trump, he is getting restless. In a series of tweets today, Trump blamed his opponents in the Democratic Party for staging a coup against him.
“As I learn more and more each day, I am coming to the conclusion that what is taking place is not an impeachment, it is a coup, intended to take away the power of the people, their vote, their freedoms, and their God-given rights as citizens of the United States of America!,” Trump said.
He added that the Democrats are focused on impeaching the President for having a very good conversation with the Ukrainian President. “I knew that many people were listening, even have a transcript. They have been at this ‘stuff’ from the day I got elected. Bad for country!” Trump said.

A new transcript of a call between Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart reveals that Trump asked for Ukraine help to investigate a case related to Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden who is expected to be his rival in the 2020 presidential election.

In the phone call that took place between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on July 25, Trump asked the Ukrainian leader to work with the U.S. attorney general to investigate the Biden case. It is alleged that Joe Biden – as the former U.S. Vice President – had improperly influenced Ukraine to protect his son, Hunter Biden, in a corruption case.
As Trump was trying to take Ukraine help to intervene in the 2020 election so that he could attack his rival Biden with corruption allegations, a whistleblower reported the matter to an inspector general in the U.S. intelligence agency.

The whistleblower’s complaint has become the basis of a new impeachment inquiry against Trump announced by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.). Pelosi said Trump’s actions amount to betrayal of the national security and betrayal of the integrity of U.S. elections.
As Congressman Adam Schiff and Speaker Pelosi have planned to speak with reporters live today while the House continues its inquiry into Trump’s abuses of power, Trump has demanded Schiff’s resignation.
Congressman Adam Schiff should resign for the Crime of, after reading a transcript of my conversation with the President of Ukraine (it was perfect), fraudulently fabricating a statement of the President of the United States and reading it to Congress, as though mine! He is sick!

“Congressman Adam Schiff should resign for the crime of, after reading a transcript of my conversation with the President of Ukraine (it was perfect), fraudulently fabricating a statement of the President of the United States and reading it to Congress, as though mine! He is sick!” Trump tweeted in his usual broken English.
