When you’re chasing big dreams, struggle becomes part of your journey. That’s what happened with Melissa Goggans, too. She grew up in a small country town as a simple girl – but a girl full of dreams.
Melissa always wanted to earn a big name for herself in the Tinseltown and worked hard to pursue her career goals. “I loved to write scripts and stories, sing and write my own music, play instruments, and loved to act,” Melissa expresses.
When all around her raised doubts about her ability to excel in the cutthroat world of entertainment and advised her for a stable job, she believed in herself and demonstrated her skills to impress even the critics.
The real inspiration for Melissa came from her elder brother who said, “Don’t listen to the naysayers. Reach for the stars. You can achieve anything you want to achieve. Dreams are never too far out of your reach.”
That inspired this bright starlet to take the right steps for pursuing her dreams.
Today, besides acting, Melissa can sing, write lyrics, write music, play the flute, compose a little, write scripts, dance, and model.
She lives in central Florida (Haines City) area but willing to travel anywhere in the world if there’s a right opportunity.
Among her achievements, Melissa was cast in parts 2 and 3 of a film that is filming in Washington. The film is based on a book. She is part of another project – a movie that is filming in Canada.
She can play a sweet girl next door, innocent type, drug addict, crazy, psycho, evil, mean, feisty, seductive, cowgirl, fighter types, strong willed, abused types, and others.
She also has undergone training for stunt fighting, martial arts, gymnastics / acrobatics, cheer-leading, and self defense.
