Vaginal Tightening Treatment Is Now Available
Vaginal laser treatment improves loose or poorly functioning vaginal skin and tissue (vaginal relaxation syndrome), as well as decreasing the diameter of the vagina for enhanced sexual stimulation during intercourse.
The treatment has also been reported to improve mixed stress urinary incontinence (a problem where women leak urine when they cough or sneeze).
The treatment is said to be quick and easy. A special laser applicator is inserted into the vaginal canal, similar to having a female exam. The anterior wall of the vagina is treated with laser energy to shrink and tighten the skin and give better support to the bladder.

A separate laser applicator is used to tighten the diameter of the vagina. Finally, the external skin of the labia is treated with a laser to tighten and improve texture and tone. Average treatment time for the procedure is stated to be less than 30 minutes.
The Gateway Aesthetic Institute & Laser Center in Salt Lake City, Utah has announced the addition of the new vaginal laser treatment to its list of available services in the aesthetics’ arena.

The treatment of the vagina is usually painless. A numbing spray is used to make the labia numb prior to treatment. You may feel a warm or mild burning sensation when the labia is treated.
No sedation or pain medications are necessary and there is no downtime. Abstaining from sexual intercourse for one week after treatment is recommended.
