Nissan Presents Revenge of the Electric Car
More than 7,200 Nissan LEAF owners around the United States have the opportunity on Oct. 16 to celebrate National Plug In Day. This first-of-its-kind event is a gathering of owners of the Nissan LEAF and other electric cars in 26 cities around the United States.
The week culminates with the Oct. 21 theatrical premier of the critically acclaimed documentary Revenge of the Electric Car, which prominently features the development of the Nissan LEAF, which is claimed to be the world’s first and only mass-marketed all-electric car.
“One year ago, the Nissan LEAF was just gaining public awareness,” said Brian Carolin, senior vice president, sales and marketing, Nissan North America.
“Today, thousands of drivers have chosen to go all-electric, with many more to come. We applaud the organizers of National Plug In Day and encourage LEAF drivers across the country to take part in Sunday’s festivities and show their support for this growing movement.”
