Nintendo Gives Pokémon Fun at New York Comic Con
Nintendo offers a unique experience for new and longtime Pokémon fans during this year’s New York Comic Con event. On Oct. 15, conference attendees and members of the public were invited to visit a special Pokémon Gaming Lounge.
While there, visitors could enjoy hands-on demos of the first Pokémon game for the portable Nintendo 3DS system, Pokémon Rumble Blast, in advance of its Oct. 24 launch.
Other activities at the lounge include trivia contests, a 3D Pokémon photo booth, a Pokémon-inspired kid’s spelling bee, large Pokémon AR Markers and prize giveaways.

Offering rich 3D visuals that can be enjoyed without the need for special glasses, the game includes two new battle modes, StreetPass features and the ability for two friends to play together over a local wireless connection.
