Lauren Andersen Is Avon’s New Makeup Artist
Leading global beauty products company Avon Products Inc. names American model Lauren Andersen as its global celebrity makeup artist. It was announced Thursday, March 21.
In the role, Andersen will serve as a global spokesperson for the Avon Color brand, share beauty tips and trends in the Avon Brochures and create beauty videos for Avon’s YouTube Channels. Lauren will play an integral role in debuting the newly revamped Avon Color line, launching summer 2013.
Recently, Avon announced that Los Angeles Clippers basketball star Chris Paul will be joining the company’s team as the face of a new men’s fragrance, Untouchable. (Read: Avon Taps Chris Paul for Upcoming Fragrance)
Also, L’Oreal Paris, a leading global beauty brand, introduced a new way to experience beauty with the re-launch of LOrealParisUSA.com, which includes a content production and syndication partnership with online content company AOL.

Andersen will help introduce Avon’s new Color collection of lipsticks and eye shadows that have been reformulated with new cutting edge innovation, featuring Color Reveal Technology that is designed to deliver ultra-wearable, high-impact color, says the company.
“Growing up my mom was an Avon representative and some of my earliest memories playing with makeup are with Avon products,” Andersen said. “My passion for beauty began with Avon and I’m excited to continue my journey with the brand as they debut an innovative new Avon Color collection.”
