L’Oreal Initiative for Girls in Science

L’Oreal USA For Girls In Science, an initiative dedicated to inspiring girls to pursue their career goals in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM), has launched a “Connected Through STEM” sweepstakes on helix.forgirlsinscience.org .

The new sweepstakes invites people of all ages across the country to let their imagination bubble by creatively setting their friends, family, pets or themselves in a photo with the L’Oreal double helix showing their connection and commitment to STEM.

Winners will receive a range of prizes, including a scholarship, gift cards and L’Oreal USA beauty products.

A map of America, dubbed the Helix Heat Map, will capture the number of entries in each state and will highlight participation from coast to coast allowing others to view those who have “Connected Through STEM” in the Helix photo gallery.
