Movie Ticketing Goes Online in South America
MovieTickets.com, a leading service for advance movie ticketing, has announced it will provide online movie ticketing services for South America’s Cine Hoyts theaters.
The partnership brings MovieTickets.com online ticketing to Chile, while also further expanding the company’s current presence in Argentina, said the company today, Oct. 11.

As part of the agreement, MovieTickets.com will enable 171 Cine Hoyts screens with online ticketing solutions in Chile and Argentina.
MovieTickets.com will provide complete showtimes through the launch of the MovieTickets.cl website, marking another website established to continue the company’s international service offerings.

Showtimes and ticketing in Argentina are provided through MovieTickets.com.ar.

Formed in 2000, MovieTickets.com is a joint venture between AMC Entertainment, Hollywood Media Corp., National Amusements, Cineplex Entertainment, Marcus Theatres, Viacom, and Time Warner.
