BJP Afraid of Losing Elections in Bihar: Congress
By Rakesh Raman
Congress leader Shakeel Ahmad said Monday that ground reports and media reports indicate that the Congress, RJD, and JD(U) alliance in Bihar has performed well in the first two phase of elections.
“BJP is afraid now of losing elections, that is why they are now trying to scare the voters for the next phases,” said Ahmad.
Talking about the reports that BJP president Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi reprimanded BJP leaders for their hate speeches, the Congress leader questioned as to who will reprimand BJP President for his hate speech during 2014 elections.
“We also don’t know whether the BJP leaders were reprimanded or were their backs patted during the meeting,” said Ahmad.

Earlier, Rajya Sabha member Ram Jethmalani had said “he had become a victim of fraud by playing into the hands of India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Arun Jaitley.” He regretted his decision of supporting Modi in the Lok Sabha election of 2014.
Irked by BJP’s lackluster response on the issue of black money, Jethmalani had exhorted the voters of Bihar to defeat Modi’s BJP in the state election.

Congress leader Ahmad also questioned as to who will reprimand Finance Minister Arun Jaitley for insulting the writers, who have returned their awards due to the growing intolerance in the country.
He added that BJP tried to divert attention of people from the issue of development, because the Prime Minister Modi has failed miserably in this task.
“To divert attention and to divide the people of Bihar, BJP asked RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat to make statement against reservations in the country. They also tried to bring the Dadri issue from U.P to Bihar, but the people of Bihar are way smarter,” said Ahmad.
