Trump Election: Now Jill Stein Demands Federal Intervention
Besides the hacking of Democratic Party’s emails, the Stein campaign alleges that the touchscreen voting machines were also hacked and voters’ databases were stolen to facilitate Donald Trump’s win.

Former Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein, who had warned that the election may be rigged, has approached the U.S. Department of Justice through her attorney demanding a probe in the election process.
Stein’s attorney has written a letter to the Attorney General Loretta Lynch, asking for an investigation into the integrity of the U.S. election system generally, and the voting machines specifically.
Earlier, the Stein campaign had applied for vote recounts in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
Now, the letter dated December 23 suggests that the attempted recount process has uncovered that voting machines relied on in these states and across the country are prone to human and machine error and vulnerable to tampering and hacking.

“The recount also found that the states’ efforts to protect their systems may be insufficient, particularly in low-income communities and communities of color. Each of these grave concerns warrants federal intervention,” the Stein campaign stated.

Voting Irregularities
Jill Stein still believes that a full and independent investigation can reveal if Donald Trump has actually won the election or it was a wrong result.
You can get an idea of the voting irregularities from the Michigan example. The Stein campaign reveals that there were 75,335 “under-votes” in Michigan. These are the ballots that are filled out except for the vote for President—70 percent higher than the number in 2012 election.
Many of these are in Oakland and Wayne Counties, which include Detroit, raising the possibility that communities of color may have been disenfranchised by an unreliable counting of the votes.
According to the Stein campaign, the number of under-votes exceeds by several-fold Trump’s margin of victory in the state. There is a real possibility that such voting irregularities have taken place in other states as well.
Besides the hacking of Democratic Party’s emails, the Stein campaign alleges that the touchscreen voting machines were also hacked and voters’ databases were stolen to facilitate Trump’s win.
Presidential Inauguration
The Inauguration Day ceremony will take place on January 20, 2017 when Trump is scheduled to begin his four-year term as President.
Meanwhile, a leading filmmaker Michael Moore believes that Americans can still overturn the outcome of the U.S. presidential election that Trump won by defeating his rival Hillary Clinton.

Moore also dismissed the election of Trump by the Electoral College electors saying that the process has benefited the candidate who spewed racism and hate.
The Presidential Inaugural Committee is making all preparations to ensure a smooth ceremony. It has created a dedicated website for the inauguration.
The site states that the country is “once again establishing a government of, by and for the people, as we, the people, Make America Great Again!”
