Now “Rogue” NASA Scientists to Protest Against Trump
“An American government that ignores science to pursue ideological agendas endangers the world.”

After the success of Women’s March on Washington against President Donald Trump, now the U.S. scientists have decided to oppose Trump’s anti-science rhetoric.
Scientists’ March on Washington is stated to be a March for Science on DC and across the United States. Beginning with the march, the organizers have decided to take a stand for science in politics.
According to them, slashing funding and restricting scientists from communicating their findings (from tax-funded research!) with the public is absurd and cannot be allowed to stand as policy.
“This is a non-partisan issue that reaches far beyond people in the STEM fields and should concern anyone who values empirical research and science,” it was stated.

Referring to the Republican Party in general and Trump in particular, the anonymous protesters say that politicians who devalue expertise, risk making decisions that do not reflect reality and must be held accountable.
So everyone knows: we intend to hold sister marches, but none are planned yet. As of today, this is our only twitter account. #ScienceMarch

“An American government that ignores science to pursue ideological agendas endangers the world,” the protesters stated on their website.
The Scientists’ March on Washington is being promoted by “rogue” NASA scientists who have formed an unofficial “Resistance” team of NASA. The date for the march will soon be announced.
If you’re just as mad as we are, don’t forget about the #ScienceMarch. Together we rise. Together we #resist. https://t.co/pBvVLekWL1

Meanwhile, the Women’s March on Washington has decided to extend its campaign for 100 days.
Launched Sunday under the title “10 Actions for the first 100 Days,” the new campaign suggests supporters to take 10 different actions in the next 100 days to express their opposition to the Trump Administration.
