Disqualification of AAP MLAs: Delhi CM Kejriwal May Resign
Since most Indian politicians are highly corrupt, they never resign when they are caught in corruption cases. However, it is expected that Kejriwal will soon resign because he often claims that he is an honest leader.

Delhi BJP President Manoj Tiwari welcomed Friday the decision of Election Commission of India (ECI) recommending disqualification of 20 Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs. The MLAs are accused in the ‘office of profit’ matter which amounts to corruption and misuse of authority.
Tiwari said that it is a moral defeat for Delhi chief minister (CM) and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal who should own responsibility and resign.
Similar demand has come from another opposition party Congress which has decided to start a city-wide campaign from Monday to expose the corrupt practices of Kejriwal government.

“Kejriwal has no right to continue. Half of his cabinet ministers were removed on corruption charges! 20 MLAs who were enjoying ministerial perks would be disqualified!” said a local Congress leader Ajay Maken.

BJP’s Tiwari said although his party welcomes the decision but simultaneously regret that ECI allowed undue adjournments to AAP MLAs which have cost dear to the people of Delhi.

“Taking advantage of ECI’s long adjournments, these MLAs have not only looted and cheated the people of Delhi but also stalled development. Taking advantage of this delay, AAP has succeeded to send 3 Members to Rajya Sabha and in the process has also sullied the image of Rajya Sabha,” Tiwari said, adding that Delhi BJP is prepared for mid-term elections any moment.
