Leading filmmaker Michael Moore believes that Americans can still overturn the outcome of the U.S. presidential election that Donald Trump won by defeating his rival Hillary Clinton.
Although the Electoral College electors have confirmed Trump presidency in the vote that took place Monday, Moore has planned to disrupt the Inauguration Day ceremony on January 20, 2017 when Trump is scheduled to begin his four-year term as President.
Moore said Tuesday that he will lead nonviolent protests and explore legal options to get Trump presidency revoked.
5. Trump is not president until 12 noon on Jan 20th. So we’ll continue to fight & hope to find a legal, nonviolent way to stop this madness.

He dismissed the election of Trump by the Electoral College electors saying that the process has benefited the candidate who spewed racism and hate.

Moore also criticized the American democratic system which led to the defeat of Hillary Clinton although she got 2.8 million more votes than Trump. “Not a democracy,” he said.
Meanwhile, a campaign under the banner #DisruptJ20 is gaining momentum to disrupt the inauguration of Trump on January 20.
The #DisruptJ20 website suggests that “Trump stands for tyranny, greed, and misogyny. He is the champion of neo-nazis and white Nationalists, of the police who kill the Black, Brown and poor on a daily basis, of racist border agents and sadistic prison guards, of the FBI and NSA who tap your phone and read your email.”

The #DisruptJ20 campaign warns that the Trump presidency will be a disaster and #DisruptJ20 will be the start of the resistance.
Earlier, the former Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein, who had warned that the election may be rigged, has planned major anti-Trump demonstrations. “We will be building Occupy Inauguration protests in January,” she had said.
Meanwhile, the Presidential Inaugural Committee is making all preparations to ensure a smooth ceremony. It has created a dedicated website for presidential inauguration.
The site states that the country is “once again establishing a government of, by and for the people, as we, the people, Make America Great Again!”
