Iran Supports Pakistan on Kashmir Dispute with India
Imran Khan urged the Modi government to resolve the Kashmir dispute through dialogue in accordance with the UN Security Council resolutions and the wishes of the Kashmiri people.

Pakistan and Iran have demanded that the controversial Kashmir issue should be resolved by involving the local Kashmiris in the decision-making process.
The Kashmir issue was discussed during Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s two-day official visit to Iran that started Monday. President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Hassan Rouhani received Imran Khan upon his arrival at Saadabad Palace in Tehran. Imran Khan is holding talks with Iranian leadership on bilateral and regional issues.

According to an official statement, Pakistan and Iran have stressed the need to resolve the issue of Jammu and Kashmir through dialogue and peaceful means based on the will of Kashmiris and in line with the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council.
Imran Khan has repeatedly condemned the violence in Kashmir and blamed the Indian government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the killings of the innocent people of Kashmir. He blames the Indian security forces for the killings of innocent Kashmiris in India-occupied Kashmir (IOK).

He has urged the Modi government to resolve the Kashmir dispute through dialogue in accordance with the UN Security Council resolutions and the wishes of the Kashmiri people.
Cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan had also said that Pakistan would like to have good relations with India if India is ready to resolve the Kashmir issue which has been hanging fire for decades.
He blames India for human rights violation in Kashmir which is a disputed territory between India and Pakistan.
