These days, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal is telling blatant lies about pollution reduction in Delhi, which is the world’s most polluted national capital.
Kejriwal and his dishonest colleagues are making claims that with their efforts the pollution levels have come down in the city. However, the pollution is so severe that Delhi has become a lethal gas chamber.
An interactive tool on the Breathe Life 2030 website shows a Particulate Matter (PM) 2.5 level of 143 micrograms per cubic metre (annual mean) in India’s capital New Delhi. This is over 14 times more than the WHO (World Health Organization) safe level of 10 µg/m3. Simply put, the people of Delhi are inhaling poison from the air.
In order to expose Kejriwal’s falsehood, the Delhi unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today distributed pollution-control masks on the streets of Delhi.
BJP state president Manoj Tiwari said that Kejriwal has failed to control pollution in the city and making false claims about his achievements.
He added that BJP will win the upcoming Delhi election and it will work to ensure pollution-free Delhi. BJP is also urging voters that in the Delhi Assembly election which will happen after a few months, they should bring PM Narendra Modi’s party to power because Kejriwal government has completely ruined the city-state in the past 5 years of its rule.
.@ArvindKejriwal is not serious about the menace of pollution due to which the people of Delhi are suffering. Delhiites are ready to give him a befitting reply in the upcoming Assembly elections. @ManojTiwariMP #DelhiWantsBJP pic.twitter.com/PpJAq8RYLi

Kejriwal’s AAP – which won 67 of the 70 Assembly seats in Delhi in 2015 election to form the government – has caused such a damage to Delhi that now it will take it almost 50 years to recover from the ruins.
