Meet the Dishonest Losers in the Indian Lok Sabha Election
The defeated Indian politicians must speak the truth by saying that they do not accept the election results given by the EVMs.
By Rakesh Raman
The politicians and the political parties that have lost the Lok Sabha election are so dishonest that they can’t speak the truth even after their defeats. On the one hand, they have been shouting from the rooftops that Narendra Modi’s party BJP wins elections fraudulently by tampering with electronic voting machines (EVMs), but on the other hand in their post-poll messages, they say that they accept people’s verdict.
This is a paradoxical position. How can it be voters’ decision if machines were made to cheat in order to help BJP win? These dishonest leaders deserve the defeat because they are the enemies of the truth.
If they really believe that BJP has manipulated the EVMs in connivance with the Election Commission of India (ECI) to change the results in BJP’s favor – as most opposition leaders assert – they should openly say that they don’t accept the EVM results.
Read what some of the defeated and dishonest politicians said after the election results.

The Indian electorate has given a decisive verdict in favour of the BJP and its allies. The CPI(M) has suffered a severe setback in these elections. We shall introspect the reasons for this and draw proper lessons for the future. (1/n) pic.twitter.com/EASKru8lts

So the exit polls were correct. All that’s left is to congratulate the BJP & NDA for a stellar performance. Credit where credit is due PM Modi Sahib & Mr Amit Shah put together a winning alliance & a very professional campaign. Bring on the next five years.

These results are not based on the votes of Indian voters. Rather, the opposition leaders must maintain that BJP and its alliance partners have won the election fraudulently by cheating the voters.
No wise Indian voter can vote for BJP because in the past 5 years, the Modi government has done such a damage to the country that now India will remain an underdeveloped nation for many decades.
Under the Modi government, corruption is rampant, unemployment has spread like a pandemic disease, courts work in a dishonest manner, law-enforcement agencies have stopped working, and economy is in the doldrums.
Plus, the Modi and his clique have spread such a hatred among different sections of the society that the world’s top magazine TIME has called Modi a divider-in-chief. In its latest article, the magazine has counted a number of instances where Modi has been trying to divide the country of 1.3 billion people on caste and class lines for his personal political ambitions.
Moreover, in the recent RMN Poll, only 18% people said they are satisfied with Modi’s work and many believe that he has brought the country on the brink of disaster. Now it will be extremely difficult for India to recover from the ruins, and the country will eventually fall in the graveyard of those poor countries that have almost gone extinct.
Then how can real voters – men and women – vote for Modi and BJP? That simply means that Modi and BJP have won with deceit by tampering with the EVMs and using other deceptive tricks.
Today, millions of Indian voters are totally confused because they do not know how BJP has won – with their votes or by using other unscrupulous tactics. Now, this is the responsibility of the defeated politicians to bring forth the truth of the flawed Indian electoral system.
If you can’t diagnose the disease, how will you treat it? If they are really interested in repairing the fractured political system, the Indian politicians must speak the truth by saying that they do not accept the election results given by the EVMs.
The defeated politicians should also start a sustained nationwide campaign to overhaul the decaying electoral process which has reduced India to the status of a banana republic or a politically unstable nation.
