U.S. President Donald Trump has asserted that Prime Minister (PM) of India Narendra Modi has urged him to mediate in order to settle the conflict over Kashmir, which is a disputed territory between India and Pakistan.
According to reports, Trump expressed his desire to resolve the Kashmir issue as PM Modi wants him to intervene, although India’s Ministry of External Affairs has denied the claim made by the U.S. President.
It is also believed that there could be some communication gaffe in Modi’s conversation with Trump because Modi cannot speak English language properly.
