The Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal will be questioned by the police on Friday, May 18. The interrogation will take place in connection with the alleged assault on chief secretary Anshu Prakash in February.
It is reported that police have already questioned the 11 MLAs who were present at Kejriwal’s residence on February 19 when the scuffle happened.
In a statement released today Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) contended that he is being harassed by Lt. Governor Anil Baijal at the behest of Prime Minister Narendra Modi because Kejriwal is doing very good work for people in the fields of education, health care, etc. and he is extremely popular among the people of Delhi.

However, as usual, AAP could not explain the basis for their aspersions on Baijal and Modi. Kejriwal’s party also could not explain how it measured the popularity of Kejriwal.
In an ongoing RMN Poll given below, a whopping 77% people say they are not satisfied with Kejriwal’s AAP government in Delhi and only 12% are satisfied.

After the alleged assault on the chief secretary, bureaucrats had refused to meet Kejriwal. And Aanshu Prakash had sent a letter to Kejriwal in which he had specified a slew of conditions for attending a meeting with the ministers.

In his letter, Aanshu Prakash had said that he will be attending the meeting with his colleague officers with the assumption that Kejriwal will ensure that there will be no physical attack or verbal assault on officers.

Aanshu Prakash also urged Kejriwal to maintain proper decorum in the meeting and protect the dignity of officers.
While the Delhi Police has been investigating the case, LG Anil Baijal has warned Kejriwal that he will not tolerate violence by AAP politicians.
